From the time I was very young, i was absolutely awed by those smooth as butter scales Chet pulls off in this cut. He ascends and descends the scales with equal ease. And the notes are so legato...

  • Gorgeous! Who else could carry off a (largely) solo instrumental of that song? I was fortunate to see Chet live, he was one of a kind. There are other excellent guitarists - Mark Knopfler, Tommy Emmanuel, et al, and they may equal Chet, but will never surpass him for taste, technique, and the ability to cover all musical bases. I certainly do miss him.

  • Met Chet the first time in1966 in Germany and he is my favorite guitar player ever since

  • I could listen to this all night...just can't say enough about it
