@rttsolidsnake thanks, its appreciated. i would LOVE to make a cd of retro game soundtracks, especially this one, coz its one of my favs personally. my other dream is to perform these on stage so yeh would be nice if sum1 from youtube gave me a bit of a boost, but its unlikely. i am quite grateful for all the views i have had on my sonic vids (and all my others) so far and hope ppl who view them like them and comment and spread the word ;)

I'm guessing that noone who's commented actually plays guitar?

I was going to mention the shrill tone but that could just be down to the recording. If not, you need to get some low end in there.

And what the fuck, twice you're thumb came under the neck?? There is absolutelky no reason for that to happen, that's really gonna hinder you're progress as a guitarist.

Kudos if you worked this out, shows you have agood ear atleast, just get practising on your technique

when i started out playing i did stick to simple stuff like this, but yeh i now push myself not to look at tabs without first attempting to learn it by ear, and most stuff i can now. and yeh my thumb sumtimes is more comfy down there, sorry just cant explain why. and in terms of the tone the cam is a very cheap quality so yeh. i also think it was one of my earlier amps too, and effects pedals, i have a more recent multieffects pedal and a larger more powerful and clearer amp too :)

I like that you didn't just play it straight, but put a little bit of shine into it. Really adds that extra something.
