Marty, been watching a lot of your videos, you do a great job playing and teaching! Look forward to learning more from you. Thanks!!

Marty has been teaching me for years and I love him! So patient, never yells or gets mad at me, just teaches
-
what pedal do you use, Marty?
-
@oldROCKing Try a Strat with Lace-sensors and a TBX. See if it gives you the correct tone -I guess it will. Since this solo is played on the middle pick-up - installing a single-coil in the middle position on your Tele might also do the trick with TBX
The tremelo springs of a Strat do also have a huge bearing on the attack of each note - as the guitar goes slightly flat when you pick. A more solid tremelo block like the pre-CBS ones is also a plus -avoid brass -go for iron. Bone nut of course.

Finally, something I don't know!
