You may not agree with me but the cd sales from his first album show it. You honestly can't tell me if you watched Idol you get the same energy from a song on his cd the same way you did when he did Livin for the city in the finale. I love Taylor too and picked him from his audition to win it all, but he much better live. I've watched plenty of videos of him and listened to plenty of recorded songs from Taylor, not even close!

I don't agree at all, if you listen to his new CD, The Distance, it is fantastic...he is a great performer period!

For all the people who wonder why he won American Idol, this is why. He is a great, "Live" performer, something gets lost with Taylor on a record. Whenever he performs he puts all of himself into his music, keep it up Taylor!

Don't blame him for not releasing this as a single, that's his record label's fault. He's also not "washed up", his next album should be great and hopefully there will be a really good song released as a single. Don't give up on him.
