  • bY SEEING THIS footage i can help remembering the good day of my childhood, when my mother tooking me to visit Hongkong from boarding on the ship. we ssat on the seat of lower part of the ship, fare wwas about 4 dollars macau notes, we are macau resisent at that times.

  • I never went to Macau or Hong Kong, but this film makes me imagine the best of both worlds east and west merging into one place.

  • @ppdstephen May the memory of your uncle live on. I think the background music is Chopin, but I'm not sure.

  • The scene in the 3rd class cabin flashes my memory through time tunnel when I was 7 or 8 going to Macau with my uncle for the first time. My uncle passed away long time ago so as Fat Shan, sad but it's a great footage. By the way, what's the name of the background music?

  • Great movie and bringing back a lot of childhood memories! Thanks for sharing!

  • A good sweet memory for our childhood ! Fat Shan was the fastest ship in the early 60's, the other two ships were Tai Loy and Tak Shing. In 1963 Fat Shan was doomed due to Typhoon and many crews lost their life.

Thank you very much for sharing.
