Ya all missin the point of what their tryna say..and "@polylyth" modern ireland never forgets its past,,i don't know where your living cos its proudly talked about where i'm at..maybe you and yours choose to hang your head down and shit.. but f'ck not all of Us do..so speak for yourself not all ..irish poetry and songs about our stuggles will forever be played and read..in respect of our fallen ppl ..if you forget your past..you forget what and who you truly are "IRISH"

Excellent poem lads,and very well delivered.
Its good & also quite refreshing to see young Americans who are aware of our similar histories.
We were both slaves & as far as America is concerned,it was us who,under the whip,built it with our bare hands.
Never forget ur history people,or we are doomed to repeat it.

I'm part Irish too. This piece draws the parallels between various demographics and exposes the truth, and no one can be mad at that.
