Losing the "family mountain" means one has been unable to indoctrinate the kids with dogma and consequently the superstitions' death will be a matter of time.

But let's not get too optimistic, too far away from what is reality: even if Christianity would take an enormous hit, religious revivialism seems to be a law that is hard-coded into time itself. Religion is not gonna go away anytime soon as long as there is ignorance; a lack of education, there will be religion to take its place.
