If you are tackling credit card debt, you may want to pay off the card with the smallest balance first. But Jill Schlesinger says this doesn't make sense.

  • I have 3 credit cards.. Now I'm still payeng those 3. More than the minimum payments. I pay $200 every month. 200*3=$600.. ;-(

  • I was enslaved for years to credit cards, around 1 - 2k maxed at all times. im now saving around $500 - $1000 a year in intrest by living debt free. Saving around $500 a yr in late fees and $60 a yr anual fee for the credit card and a further $100 in bank fees.

Remember you pay not tax on saving only earning and spending.

So I basically gave myself a pay rize of about 1.5k per year by eliminating my credit cards.

Stress free and loving life sooooooo much more !

Best thing I have ever done
