The Green Revolution, globalization, and new technologies among many other examples have long proven Malthusian theory to be obsolete and inapplicable to reality. We are on a track toward post-scarcity technological world where poverty, global warming, and aging itself will be obsolete issues. Technology has and always will sustain the human race, humanity has always raised the "carrying capacity" much faster than it meets it. This video is simple minded and without substance.

Peak oil may make the current population projections fall, but growth may explode later because of space travel. Nevertheless, good video. It's sad how ignorant people are to most grim realities of our world.
