To everyone asking advise! It takes a LONG time to train your Robo's and get them used to you. They are naturally very very shy and skiddish creatures so you have to approach them cautiously. Take 15-20 min every day to talk to them and just set your hand in the cage. They will start getting used to your hand and gradually after that you can pet them and then hold them. I got mine in Sep '10, it's Nov '10 and I still need to be careful around mine but I just keep talking and petting them.

so adorable! I've had two hamsters before, they both loved scratchies and snuggles.
Especially the 2nd one LOVED to sleep on me but she was shyer than the first one.
First one would let anyone hold her and she was quite active, 2nd one was lazy and didn't like strangers (she bit a friend when she put her hand in the cage)
They never bit me. And when I once put my hand in the 1st one's way so she couldn't jump down she pulled my finger away with her mouth without biting it. Missing them >:

HOW did you tame her? We have two girls, and they're absolutely crazy. Going anywhere near them with a hand makes the do nothing but PANIC and FLEE. We've had them about a week, how long did it take you to achieve this miracle?

my hamsters are hit and run vampires!!! They always bite people's fingers then run away
