Sadly, the Wing Zero and its Endless Waltz counterparts are not that strong in R. The issue is that they just have too few attacks, the exceptions being Heavyarms Custom and Wing Zero Custom. Plus, the most of the attacks are just not strong enough.

Ah, Wing Zero. Decently effective in all the games it's been in...if it weren't for the energy problem it suffers each and every time.

While I agree now that I haved played the game, I belive that Gundam X in Alpha Gaiden blew its SRW R counterpart away.

It is. And sadly is almost completely overshadowed by the Gundam X units. G-Falcon equipped Double X Gundam can fire the Twin Satellite Cannon every 3 turns, 2 if you get the G-Bits. And has better post-movement attacks. And better range. And it has 3 pilots. It's slightly over the top honestly.
