Thanks for your continue viewership. We understand your comment and don't disagree in the pure sense. Coming soon is Bob Lutz' complete comments on the Volt. I think you'll be interested in what he has to say.

Thanks for your response, you are about the only car video channel that directly responds to comments and it is nice that you do. I understand that but so do the large diesels in trains but they are diesel electric trains not electric. This is a plug in gas electric car (my opinion I guess) not electric the Tesla is electric (again my opinion)

It's considered an EV because the gasoline engine dosen't power the vehicle, it just re-charges the batteries that power the vehicle. The gasoline engine is little more than a lawn mower engine.

It isn't an EV it is a hybrid... it is just more biased to electric drive than gas drive. The original prius was alot like this and now they are more gasoline dependent. It is a plug in hybrid not an EV if this is an EV than so is the new prius since it can be put in EV only mode and drive until the battery is empty until the gas engine kicks in. I do not care that it is this way, just don't try to market it as an EV when it isn't a Tesla is an EV the EV1 was an EV this is a hybrid.
You should really change the logos in the beginining of the videos. They look like they were made in the 60's

Not quite the 60's, but the 80's. However, we designed the logo specifically to look like car logos from the 20's to the 60's. So thank you for the compliment.

Yes, GM did water down the original aggressive look. Very typical of what GM does to everything they touch.
