@GRomance0804 I personally felt that Virginia gave a strong answer, and gave a little more detail then Lu. But even if was a draw between them on the final question, as you said Pat did beat Lu that night, and therefore it should have gone to Virginia.

@Jukka70 that was my fault, i looked it up after i said it and was like uhhh.... so lu made top 5 however which is still amazing!!!
funny thing is, Lu beat Pat in Prelims......Pat beat lu on the night, until final answer. do you think pat's answer was strong enough over lu's??

@GRomance0804 Lu never won Miss Universe, heck she didn't even make the final 3. India's Sushmita Sen won that year. Now if you mean her performance at MU, then no, I still think Pat would have done better.

I Love Ms. Virginia. She could have given Sushmita Sen a really good fight for the Miss Universe crown last 1994 when we hosted it here in Manila. =)

Lu Parker was stunning as Miss Virginia but I have to admit Lou beat Virginia by a smiggen, they both were outstanding! This was a pageant that kept me at the edge of my seat. Miss NY was stunning.

Lu was beautiful, but I think Virginia got robbed. This is one of the years I disagreed the most, and I still don't see how Pat didn't win.
