Let's Play Zelda 2nd Quest Swordless (Part 1)

Haven't pulled this one off in a while, but I thought I'd give it a go.

As far as I know, you can get farther in the 2nd quest without a sword than you can in the first quest, because in the first quest you can't get to the Magical Rod without beating a Gleeok, and the Magical Rod is the only way to defeat Gleeoks. So yeah, here goes nothing.

Not really. Depending on which one you played there was a mirrored with more enemies and such, but then there was another one that was kind of a joke because they just changed the dungeons (that spelling error is gonna kill me) around to make it slightly harder.

There is a place near the dungeon in the near top-left dungeon, a hidden path worth 100 rupees
