  • @Marine2439 Who attacked who? pretty sure those pilots at Pearl Harbour were not the unarmed civilians the US did vaporize...

Then you wouldn't mind seing an Iraqi guy storming into your house with an AK during your sleep shooting you and your family down because your country attacked his country first? Right?

  • I wonder in what part of the movie Sean Bean gets killed.

  • @VIKIRERUG This is not a matter of who did what. ALL people did horrible things to eachothers. My point is that if you go out in the streets of the US (most) people still do support war, civilian being slaughtered in the process without it being a problem to them. On the other hand go Japan streets you won't find such a strong support to war. Do you get my point?

  • @Victortrotska IF you want to bring up Atomic weaponry ask yourself how you feel about Bataan, and Nanking first, as well as the social genocides of Korea... There is a reason Asia STILL dislikes Japan... It stands that to end the psychotic regime of Imperial Japan by means of invasion would have brought death tolls to military and civilians that would make anybody cringe

  • I find it hilarious how everyone is against Victortrotska

  • @Victortrotska and i suppose you believe that 9/11 was i set up? lol you really need to take a good long look at yourself lol

  • @Victortrotska hahaha people like you will be the first to die.

  • @Victortrotska No, your point was that Americans typically think the Japanese victims deserved their fate. I said that I've never heard anyone say that the victims deserved to die, more commonly I hear people say that, while it's regrettable they died, it was necessary to end the war. By the way, even if I did say they deserved, it, it wouldn't prove your point at all, since my view would not represent the typical American view even if I were American, and I'm not even American!

  • @StrangerQuark You've just proved my point: you just said that killing all those civilians was necessary...

FYI: not all victims from nuclear bombs died "fast": several millions slowly died in horrible pains for years from radiation/injuries.

  • @Victortrotska So you've asked at least 150 million Americans and at least 65 million Japanese what they think about these events? Personally, I've never met anyone who said that the victims of the bombings (or any civilian victims of WWII) deserved it. Many have said the bombings were necessary, and they arguably were. But you're right, Japan didn't vaporise its millions of victims instantaneously, their deaths were generally alot more drawn out.

  • @StrangerQuark Pretty sure Japan did not vaporize several million people in a blink of an eye like the US. Also when you ask most Japanese about this they will say they feel sorry. When you ask most American they will say those civilians got what they deserved. And that is the difference: one population supports a genocide, the other one does not.

Also one country is founded on a genocide (the US) the other isn't.

Facts, only facts you can verify by yourself.

  • @Victortrotska But then, neither were the millions of Chinese civilians killed by the Japanese, first. Not that I'm saying the US government was fighting the war for their sake, but they were the lesser of two evils in this case.
