Pray With Me, The Ultimate Wedding Song! by Penny Menze

http://pennymenze.com I've really enjoyed being part of and watching this songs journey. So far the song has been played in bars, churches, songwriter shows and now most recently weddings, lots of weddings. I've been getting emails from people that I do not know, in different parts of the country, saying they played this song at their wedding.

The other writer (Bobby Adams) and I were having a discussion about relationships. We talked about how if a couple prayed together, how they accomplish anything. I had never prayed with anyone at this point, but it was something that I was feeling and had read about. Bobby agreed. He said he'd always wanted to pray with his girlfriend but never had. We talked about how people are so ready to jump into the bedroom with someone they do not know, and about how intimate prayer is, that it's almost scary to think of praying with someone and really being exposed.

By the time Bobby drove to his house, he had the idea for this song and 1st verse and chorus written. He called and said I had to write the rest of the song with him, that it was everything we talked about.
