  • Yeah she has the 8 cylinder Jab engine - and now she has been fitted with the MT 3 blade variable pitch prop. The fixed pitch was an initial buy but had a very low top end. She was passed in the circuit by a glider (!!) so I bought the 3 blade VP and now she's very quick - 2500 fpm in the climb out... puts a smile on my face!

  • @kpdanger1 The kit for the plane alone I believe costs about £100,000

  • @paddyfin How much does all this cost including the plane?

  • Just check out supermarineaircraft (dot) com (foreslash) about (dot) htm for the page with all the details. They now have a 90% scale two seater... Still dreaming of a 100% scale, though!

  • Awesome, we have a few in Australia and they look awesome and sound great aswell!!

  • Put a min merlin engine in it :P

  • That must have the Jabiru opposed 8 cylinder engine. There's a film here on U-tube of the same kit/engine with a 3-blade prop. It sounds very close to the rougher running Griffon spitty.

  • that was so awesome!

  • I so want to get one of them
