First of all, I purposely did NOT show every absolute best example of each song. I still want there to be plenty to explore for the unfamiliar to Daniel's voice. For all the cool vocal parts in here, there are 3 times as many equally interesting, diverse, and impressive ones through their songs.

That said...

I decided to put 1 sample of every Pain of Salvation song in order from the very beginning with Entropia until the latest Scarsick. I chose to concentrate on Daniel's vocal highlights through the years. Obviously it's IMPOSSIBLE to make a decent video under 10 minutes like this, but I bet no one's done this before and it wouldn't hurt to try, right? Maybe some of you will enjoy it.

77 songs, 1 man, 10 years, 10 minutes

:)

0:00 - Entropia - 1997
1:27 - One Hour By The Concrete Lake - 1999
3:20 - The Perfect Element pt. I - 2000
5:06 - Remedy Lane - 2002
6:38 - BE - 2004
8:23 - Scarsick - 2007

*no 12:5 because it would be even more ridiculous trying to do this.

  • I thank you for this vid, such a beautiful and unique voice in every way...been in many of their lives still can't believe this man exists(as a vocalist and composer)

  • I wanted to do this too, and I looked on youtube thinking NAWWW NO ONE'S DONE THIS I BET, and there are like 5 videos already...

    Jesus, Daniel's just that inspirational.

  • @darkcreed18 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • The best is Myles Kennedy =D.

  • I'd drink the blood of newborn babies every day if it got me that voice. In fact, if he told me he did that, I'd totally support him.

  • I'd love to hear the low pitched vocals on Nauticus instead of the cynical joke at the end of the song. It'd be much better to show Daniel's vocal range and his diversity of interpretation.

  • Breathtaking!

  • the most emotional singer ever, period.

  • best moment in music history: 5:55

  • He's not just singing, he's really invested his own being into music! I dare you to find anyone else with equal as much feeling in his vocal expressions! :D

    I love this guy.
