Jill Harris lives near the beach in Melbourne, Fla., but she's excited about the sand from Beaver County.
"Feel how fine the grains are; it's very silty," said Harris, who has been busy this week building a marvelous work-of-art out of 150 tons of sand dredged from the Ohio River by Georgetown Sand and Gravel Inc.
Harris' company, Sandsational Sand Sculpting, is erecting what's believed to be the biggest sand castle ever seen in Pittsburgh. It'll serve as one of the focal points of this weekend's EQT Three Rivers Regatta.
