Claude Rains was indeed one of the greats. He had the greatest accent of any actor. He's really funny when he messes up,too.I love Rains!
-
I love Claude Rains' reaction...so terribly English. Does anyone know what movie that was from?

@meowmeowkitty3 From what I've read from back then "Fuck" was used more as a verb, rather than a stronger version of "damn" the way it is today. In the Army, they said FEIL (Fuck 'Em, I'm Leaving) and SNAFU.

@BetsyBooth22 I love Carol. 73 years later she's still making people fall off their chairs laughing.
-
@nicoley132 Plus the fact that he was starting to make fun of himself there, in a deadpan way as usual. Good ol'Basil. I'd love to have seen him guest star on Monty Python.

Carole Lombard WOULD have a lot of bloopers with all her craziness.
-
Observing this a little more carefully...
That's not Jack Warner, by a long shot.
> Professor DLC
-
@DLCOrganization Well, I don't think so but I do see a similarity. Don't know who he is then though.
-
@meowmeowkitty3 The Warner Bros staff and thier families.
-
White Banners = WB!
By the way, at the risk of sounding stupid,
was that supposed to have been Jack Warner at the beginning?

what the heck is with Basil Rathbone trying on the different helmets? How is that a breakdown?
Nergaladdictchic 1 year ago
@Nergaladdictchic It ain't. I think they're making fun of how seriously he's taking the costume tests. Or just the fact that he has to try so many helmets. Or something.
