Lion King - Can You Feel The Love tonight [Pre Production]

This is an Unseen version of can you feel the love tonight that is in the 1995 Lion King Laser Disc. It features sketches of the storyboard with the early song, some of them were included in the final story like you'll see.
It's a very good version, some people say it's better than the movie. I really cant decide; enjoy it!.

I like both the movie version and this version. My main complaints with the movie version is that it was too short and I didn't like Timon and Pumba singing. I wish they combined the movie version and this version into one song.

I never liked Eltons version. The lyrics didn't match the movie.

@honeygoogoo I agree with you there. I think there was a VERY old VHS promo (I think it was Aladdin, but I could be wrong,) with this version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" on it, so I think they scrapped it for the newer lyrics right before they were about to finish filming.

I really wish they had kept these lyrics though. They're so pretty and a lot of the Timon/Pumbaa stuff is just annoying. That's why I liked the Broadway version of this song better. It's supposed to be ROMANTIC.

I think timon and pumbaa made it really sweet yet funny but this version is really beautiful.

Yeah, this was AMAZING!!!!!! Screw the fact it wasn't African enough! Just make the music sound the same way it did in the movie, and that's it! This was genius!

how come this feature, along with others like the 'making of' documentary and other deleted scenes never made it into the platinum or diamond edition releases? was there something wrong with doing so?
