Here we are inside of New Haven ALCO RS1 0673, which is owned and held captive by the Danbury Railway Museum. Here, we go back from the platform track on Track 18, to the switch, so we can travel down Track 42, to do a Railyard Local. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on May 31st, 2008.

  • That'd be a Hancock 4700 air-whistle. Common on 1st generation locomotives like this one.

  • To be more specific, it is a Hancock 4710. The difference between a 4700 and a 4710 is that the 4700 has the square deflector dish, whereas the 4710 only has the whistle piece.
