its not that difficult.

you drive forward a bit,select N press the clutch.

N is engaged.then you press on the clutch and

push the knob for reverse.

release the clutch,car drives backwards.

you have to drive forward a bit,to bring the gearbx cogs in the right position.

@ least,you have to do that on the normal stickshift gearbox.

you can only disengage the reverse gear by pressing the clutch and select and engage the 1st gear

sadly most preselect gearboxes died early.

They are very rare today. 5*
