More Than Just Friends[30]

Okay guys, I'm thinking I'm gonna start winding this down. I don't update enough, and I'm pretty sure this is getting boring as hell for you guys. If I feel up to it, I'll shoot for a sequel. I'm not sure what to have go on with Nick and Kenzi though! I'm gonna leave the Joe and Kacy drama hangin' for a bit though, and well... you'll see!

(AN: AHHH I JUST DROPPED CUP NOODLES DOWN MY SHIRT! AHHHHH! ahaha, okay moving on, sorry.)
Frankie: *knocking furiously on the door* NICK! Joe kicked me out of the kitchen to talk to Kacy! I'm bored, and you're supposed to get up!
Kenzi: *taps Nick's side, and when he doesn't wake up she hits him a little harder* Get up loser, you're brother's outside the door.
Nick: *getting up off the couch* what's up Franks?
Frankie: Don't you listen when I talk to you? Joe kicked me out of the kitchen to talk to Kacy!
Nick: Do you know what they were talking about?
Frankie: No, but he looked worried. He said they needed to talk.

Just then Kacy came speeding into the backroom, crying hysterically.
Kacy: Nick I need to talk to Kenzi, can you go please?
Nick: Yeah sure, but what's wrong?
Kacy: Go ask Joe, and while you're at it... find out who he's cheating on me with.
Kenzi: Excuse me?
Kacy: Joe just broke up with me. He said he didn't feel anything between us anymore.
Nick: That doesn't mean he's cheating on you!
Kenzi: Nick, calm down. Go talk to Joe; ask him what's going on. Kacy, Nick's right. Just because he doesn't feel anything between you two doesn't mean shit. Maybe he's just confused and he doesn't know how to feel. It happens sometimes. It sucks, but it happens.
Kacy: I don't understand how you can just stop loving someone. It doesn't make sense.
Kenzi: That's because that's not what happened.
Kacy: And how would you know!
Kenzi: Because, did he ever say: "I just don't love you anymore" ?
Kacy: Well, no. But -
Kenzi: Exactly. Don't assume stuff. You just dug yourself in two gigantic holes because you assumed Joe was cheating on you, and that was because you assumed he didn't love you anymore! And you probably left him feeling worse than he already did!

Nick: Joe, Kacy just ran back there crying. What's going on? She said something about find out who you're cheating on her with?
Joe: I'm not cheating on her! I don't, not love her! She's making up stuff, and twisting my words. I don't know how I feel about her anymore. I don't know how I feel about anything anymore. I'm confused and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I thought I could fix it by limiting myself from relationships and stuff.
Nick: I'm guessing that backfired?
Joe: What do you think dumbass?
Nick: Look, I'm sorry. But I really think you should talk to her.
Joe: I tried, she won't let me. And I'm pretty sure I just blew everything, I pretty much just made the worst mistake of my life.

Right then they pulled up to the venue for that night.
Nick: *thinking* Tonight should go well. God, wish us luck.
