Shout to the Lord sung by American Idol contestants group season 7

During Idol Gives back 8 of the American Idol contestants sing Shout to the Lord and the Idol group re sang the song again during the finale. They are Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White, Jason Castro, Syesha Mercado, David Archuleta, and David Cook.

The sang the gospel worship song during the star studded event as millions watched around the world during the finals of the competition. Judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Ryan Seacrest hosted it.

dedicated to the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School cheerleaders. Thanks Brad Scott.

at that time i wasn't saved, but i still ddidn't notice that they did this song. i really can't believe that they did it, i mean most shows wouldn't do that because they could lose some fan base. i wish i had remembered this.

I've missed that one too. I have never watched AI since it began; I started on the current season.

But it's good to see them sing and praise God, because the LORD deserves all praise and honor =)

How nice. I love this show so much and now that they sing a Christian song this is even better!! Although I wish they all meant what they were singing as some of them don't sound like they mean it

Good to see that there are some Christians on that show producing. I couldn't help but smile when they sang. I still tear up.
