you can tell john edwards heard the question, it was simple, he was taking time to think how to answer the question, and he feigned that he could not hear or understand the question, typical politician. Like George Carlin said "they dont care about you, they dont care, they dont care about you or me". They want to get elected so they can make the big money, and have the power.
