Vey nice! I really like that you show that "roof above your head" principle. Too many jump in with their kicks, telegraphing and losing time and power. Straight at it is how it should be. I also saw that your groinkicks goes straighter, with a snap of the foot rather then straight in from under the groin like a soccerkick. I learn alot from this clip! Thanks!

I'm meeting concepts JKD players often times when I give seminars that can't even do a Pak Sao correctly, there are instructors of note all over the youtube who can't! No wonder Wing Chun players laugh at JKD guys as the poor bastards of Wing Chun.

I never personally attack these instructors I merely call their techniques out as ineficient or less ineficient than something else which is JKD. sOME THINK BECAUSE i HAVE THE BALLS TO CALL iNOSANTO'S STUFF not JKD at time , that I must hate him, WHAT UTTER BOLLOCKS THAT IS. Inosanto I'm sure is a great guy, If I critique him with my democratic right to freedom of speech it is wehat he is doing that I'm critisising, NOT HIM!

Hello SharpestBlade, thanks for your comment I will elloborate for your edification. If you listen to what I say all amrtial arts have some truth in them. Now Carnell is doing in this clip true JKD as I know it if you take the time to look at his half time trapping clip you will see I clearly critiquem it as NOT JKD as it is way too long winded, hence why I say he is in much better form on this clip.

I GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE, contrary to what some think of me.

....but he's a concepts guy isn't he? I see he's got clips doing Silat and Kali. Had you seen those first you'd be hanging him in effigy. See, this was my point all along Jimi. You can't go around dismissing schools as not doing JKD because they don't show you a technique you're looking for. Simply explain what you want to see. I go to a concepts school and I do this move all the time. it works especially well when I spar friends who do other arts.
