Primmer Expanding Table

This is a walnut table that is made to expand in width instead of length. It is 10' long and from 26" to 36" wide. The three sections can expanded individually and each sections leaves are also independent from each other. As a leaf is pulled the table top lifts up. Once the the leaf is clear the top drops back into position on tiny hydraulic pistons.

The sliding extensions can get scratched from pulling them in and out, but in practice as long as things are kept clean this does not seem to be an issue. There is very little friction in the system. We have heard of people using pieces of felt to reduce abrasion in Dutch pullout tables though we did not use that technique on this table and it is doing just fine.

wish i had the money to get a jewelers bench off these guys
