  • Holmes was underrated. He held onto the title for a long time. Fought alot of good fighters. Had alot of title defenses.Very good boxer and recoverd quickly when he got hurt.

  • Holmes was at the peak of his fitness and career, to survive a punch like that takes GUTS and heart.

  • @duprez2 The only difference is, is that Muhammad was pathethic compared to what he was in 67 and Holmes was at the peak of his career..

  • holmes was a sucker to the right hand all his career

  • @Youbastardshitheads Not just survive bro, but came back to win fights he was knocked down in. Big heart.

  • @MrRoyalFatness they lied about joe louis weight for the billy conn fight do a search for it on google.

  • @MrLukedanger

Are you dumb? You can't lie about your weight at an official weigh-in. That is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.

  • @dempsey981 Louis would have a hard time with Ali because Joe always had trouble against fighters with foot work ( Billy Conn ). The one guy who would beat Ali on any given night is Ken Norton. The one guy who would knock Ali out would probably be Tyson IF Tyson could catch him early.

  • @twiskins Actually, Earnie Shavers cracked Ali with that same right hand several times. Unlike Holmes, Ali stayed on his feet. Unlike Ali, Holmes suffered no permanent damage. I think it's safe to say that Larry faired better than Muhammad against Shavers even though they both won.

  • @MrRoyalFatness they lie about his weight all the time.

  • @mraims2plez

Joe Louis was not only 191lbs, he fought as heavy as 218lbs, with his optimal weight around 210lbs. Heavy enough to knock the fuck out of Lennox Lewis.

  • @Robstailey easier said than done....Of course U must be a boxer though! Still had a tendency to swing wildly after a heavy blow to someone! Just check out his previous and prior fights! All the best this year...mmj
