Great video!
you could pre-brush him with a pin brush and a misting bottle of conditioner to get out major tangles. use light strokes and be gentle so you dont cut the skin (slickers can be sharp!)
and if you use thinning shears with the lay of the coat you are less likely to get scissor marks
the Havanese Club of Canada just released an awesome book for grooming the havanese, it is available throught their website
remember too, this is no way to groom a havanese for show!
