Here is our new flock of chickens at Live Earth Farm (2010). They are 4 months old in this video and are grazing in one of our orchards. This is them exiting the mobile chicken coop one morning. They are now laying wonderful organic free range eggs. CRAZY!!!!!!!!

  • lol! great vid. It kind of looks like that scene from the first Jurassic Park film, where the Gallimimus are running towards those people. The only thing missing is a T-rex! Nice to see that you are letting your chickens free range :).

  • @klaverenvrouwke I know, right!? I always think of dinosaurs when I spend a lot of time with them. I guess thats because they are descended from dinosaurs. Their ancestors were 8 feet tall! Talk about freaky!

  • Right on brother! I love it! Man them chickens went crazy coming out of there. Looked like they were on steroids! LOL! They seem to be very happy, and that's the most important thing of all. I watch these videos and realize that I am not the only one who really cares about their chickens or rabbits or whatever. I hope you have a happy life. You deserve it. You're a kind man.

  • @buddybleau Thanks for your kind words! It takes all kinds ya know.

  • really wonderful chickens, great free-ranging setting.

  • Keep doing what you are doing! Those chickens seem so happy! I only buy from organic free-range farms. I support the organic community all the way :)

  • @samkoi56 No, not to raise them. But you can check with your local extension agent on certain regulations in your area

  • @EBouleyPhotos haha! No, this was taken before they started laying. After they started laying, we built nest boxes inside, but then it got too heavy to move by hand, so we had to bring the tractors in to pull it. Worth it though, I love the taste of those eggs!

  • Where do they lay their eggs? Is it a daily easter egg hunt? lo!

  • Do you need licence to raid these chickens?

  • @klaverenvrouwke That was my first though too.

  • CHICKEN RUN!!!
