NEW YORK -- October 26, 2011. A large group of doctors, nurses, healthcare workers -- and Occupy Wall Street protesters -- visit the offices of Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Wellcare and the site of the recently deceased St. Vincents Hospital. Their message: healthcare is a human right, and if we can build a hospital in Iraq, why not in New York?
@uria702 you could say the same about firefighters or police. you have a right to be protected from fire and crime in the USA....but nobody argues that citizens are making an ill-gotten claim to the work of firefighters or policemen. Why is it different when it comes to medicine?
Or should you have to have "police insurance" if someone commits a crime against you?
Or how about "fire insurance" if your house catches fire.... otherwise the firemen won't put it out....

since when is someone else's work a right? Health care isn't marriage or religion. You have to take someone else's time and work. You can't give to one person without taking from someone else.
