BTG-BTL's Empyro project will deliver pyrolysis oil to the district heating network of Hengelo.

BTG-BTL will in cooperation with Opra Turbines and Warmtenetwerk Hengelo provide the Hengelo district heating network with green heat by the usage of pyrolysis oil on Opra's gasturbine.

Follow-up of the news that was already published in the beginning of April: BTG Bioliquids officially signed the agreement for the development of a mutual project with the Municipality of Hengelo (the Netherlands) and Opra Turbines. The aim of this project is the placement of the first Opra turbine on pyrolysis oil at the Warmtenet Hengelo (District Heating Network Hengelo) site in the beginning of 2012. This unit will use about 25% of the Empyro BV pyrolysis oil production.
