Hi,
I'm the worm dude, of WWW.TheWormDude.Com. I sell Red Wigglers and Composting Nightcrawlers. I've had a ton of requests for garden worms. Normally, Red Wigglers are not recommended for the garden, as they tend to not live long in most peoples gardens. I found these CRAZY HUGE worms that I am trying to raise. They look like an African Nightcrawler, but have a thick skin like a European Nightcrawler. If I can get these things to breed in captivity, it would be VERY COOL!
Good for you.
No pics, didn't happen!

I dont mean to sound condesending, but what do you mean crazy huge worms. Those are hardly even half the length of most garden worms that one of the other posters stated comes out mostly during heavy rain. I know ive gone out and done worm hunting before fishing trips on rainy evenings and picked worms nearly 15 inches long before from my own garden, so those you have there seem rather......puny.

@thewormbin I think I found a worm like that in missouri. It wiggled so violently when I picked it up it freaked me out so badly XD

Im familiar with that worm it is the real night crawler or AKA alabama jumper some call it.I think they wiggle more than a red wiggler they wiggle so much they jump and break easily and they dont like hot compost they like to live in leaf piles too much heat in the compost pile will kill them. The worm everybody refers to as a night crawler is a garden worm these are the real night crawler they come out at night after a rain and completely leave the ground the forage for food.
