  • im 16 years old and i really wanted to get into pitching ive been analyzxeing it alot on tv lately and today we went on a clas tip and they had a pitching setup where you pitch a ball to a strike zone board and its regulation distance and ive never pitched a day in my life before and i was throwing 74-77 mph strikes, is this good and is there any videos that are really good to teach me more, shoild i join a legue for the summer?

  • well thats one big pile of shit...lol its great how their teaching kids to blow out their shoulders by telling them to collapse their front leg... u want ur body to come over ur front leg to create whipp on ur arm for more arm speed which makes u throw with more velocity... these guys shouldn't be teaching kids.

  • this is just one hundreds of ways of training pitching.

    Good job though

  • the towel drill is the most thing ever

  • :15 is my favorite drill.

  • is this a joke?

  • If your 16 and have never pitched a day in your life, that is amazing. If you can learn some other pitches other than fastballs (curves, sliders) then you can porbably make a school team. I used to pitch when I was younger, still do every once in a while with friends and I max around 60+. 70+ is really good for 16.

  • hey im 13 and i throw around 67-72 i would like to step up my pitches and velocity should i start throwing curving pitches yet or no

  • well it doesnt matter if you can throw much speed or something man the thing is can you use your brain in pitching. no lie bro baseball is all science the way you release is the way where its gonna go.

  • Hey Golfer9134, I'm 18 yrs old. I've been playing baseball all my life and been pitching for 2 yrs. I play and train in the Dominican Republic.. Your mph isn't bad at all.. What all the pitchers do down here in D.R is excercise, everyday none stop.. Running a lot helps improve your mph, when i was 16 i was throwin 75-78... now im throwing 88-91 mph.. for you to become a good pitcher you need a good strike zone and good curve ball and change up... Anything else just ask me.- You Should join.

  • nice lie u dont pitch 80, u probably pitch about 70 to 73
