2010 Heroes of Red Cross Good Samaritan award

Two Connecticut Light and Power employees were honored with the Good Samaritan award by the Connecticut chapter of the American Red Cross at its 2010 Heroes of Connecticut breakfast celebration. The two Transmission Line Mechanics were honored along with nine other men and women from northern and eastern Connecticut. Temple and Palmer were recognized for their assistance to a victim of a vehicle accident in September 2009 on Interstate 91 South in Cromwell, Conn. Kevin and Steve, who work out of 3333 in Newington, attributed their response to the First Aid training they have received working at Northeast Utilities.
