You are awesome! I love the way you explain things.... were you a teacher? :) I love to knit and am starting to get into spinning.... I have my first package of wool roving... and I am nervous to ruin it! Your videos are giving me much confidence. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I wish we were neighbors!

Thank you very much :o) I'm just beginning to learn about this now that I have beautiful German Angora rabbits with all this white fiber :o) White is lovely..but for only so long...I can't wait to get some nice colors going. Your video was very well done and nice and clear for a newbie like me...I appreciate you taking the time to make it and sharing it with all of us.

I've used the squeeze bottles, also "perm bottles" from the beauty shop. Somehow the syringes have survived "storage" - and I also use them to inject with the needle into balls of yarn so they are quite handy. (I'm currently signed in as RallyJudge - my other channel.) Anything that will get the dye onto the fiber will work. The foam "paint brushes" also work, especially for special effects.

@CrunchyConservative thank you so much!!!!

You can also use a sqeeze bottle from the condiment section at the supermarket/big box store rather than a syringe. Thanks for the great video. I can't wait to try this with some roving I have at home!

@samarakiihl She said 2/3C of vinegar in each measuring cup. I have heard that you should use 2-3 Kool-Aid packets if you want a deeply saturated color, as well as mixing it in straight vinegar.
Wow - where do you get Ice blue any more? It's totally extinct around here, and it's such a neat color.

To minimize felting handle wet wool as little as possible and then only push down on it, don't wring or twist. Be sure to let wool cool completely before rinsing and then squeeze out the water or blot on a towel. Some kinds of roving felt much easier than others - Faulkland and Merino take special handling and care.
