Just recently ran across this. These missions are kind of modeled after old Sonic games. Fairies are replaced with rings and knights are replaced with robots.

Okay so the lagacy levels are like playing Sonic and the secret rings pretty much> Except that the recovery on the homing attacks is really slow i think i would enjoy those stages.

The recovery on the homing attack isn't slow. I was just being lazy lol.

On a normal level, you don't actually have to manually homing attack opponents. You jump dash at one of them and shake the Wii Remote before you hit them. That will carry you through the all enemies that are close enough to you. It's weird and it took some time before I got used to it.

The game itself might be good, but Sonic does not belong in this game.

I bet that if we made Arnold fight barbies in Terminator 4 and changed it into comedy then you wouldn't even have lifted an eyebrow.

simple, they didn't want to add 2 types of special missions, so you get 2 references to old games in one mission.

well lets see... would you rather have a gimmick that kills the game or Sonic Unleashed Day stages for the entire game :P
