Go to 192.168.1.1 on an internet browser(lan with your xbox), default password is admin(no username).
Your NAT should be enabled.
Your MTU should be set at 1364 OR 1492. Try both see which one's better! 1364 is if your connection is dsl or very slow. 1492 is the best for fast connections. 5mbit/s+
The ports you need to be fowarded to your xbox's ip address (192.168.1.149) are 88, 3074, 53, and 80. TCP/UDP for all.

Your Xbox's ip should be set to MANUAL and remember the ip you set it to. BEST 192.168.1.149
Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0
Gateway should be set to 192.168.1.1 (or your router's ip address).
DNS should be set to MANUAL and both be set to 192.168.1.1 (or your router's ip address).
(the second part also works for computer network address settings but with a diff. ip!)

IF you connect to xbox live THROUGH your computer, this will help you: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/xbox-360-tutorials/121858-get-perfect-connect...
