La Feria de la Familia 2009 -- Telemundo Washington DC

WZDC Telemundo Washington, DC hosted the 7th Annual La Feria de la Familia at the DC Armory on Sunday, October 18th with a wide variety of information, entertainment and activities for the entire family. The free all day event celebrated Hispanic Heritage month and included over 100 different vendors.

Event attendees received free health and wellness check-ups, product samples, prize giveaways, legal and financial advice as well as information from the Department of Education, the U.S. Census Bureau and the FDIC. There were also several organizations on-site that were recruiting. New additions to this years Feria included VIVA 900s recording studio, another stage offering health demonstrations and the Telenoticias Washingtons mini weather studio.

La Feria de la Familia is designed to provide information and services in a festive, family atmosphere that is free to the public. Over the years, La Feria de la Familia has established itself as a dynamic and powerful forum. Connecting business to the Hispanic community, showcasing products and strengthening brands, La Feria is an interactive expo of exceptional quality, guaranteed to inform, empower and entertain.
