  • How fast was she running at 6:01 in the video? Was that 30 MPH? The reason why I ask is because in September of this Year she'll be visiting the CVSR and her top speed on the line will be 30 MPH.

  • @MrWrawroacx I believe it is about 30, but I don't think it was anything above 30.

  • The ending had a bit of a drawback to it.

  • I know, it was the best ending I could do, once I had finished pacing cars and other people started piling up in front my of camera obstructing my view of the train. That was also the last clip I took.

  • @MrWrawroacx it can do a top speed of around 90 mph when opened up

  • what whistle does she have on??

  • when did 765 return to steam exactly

  • The track speed for this line is somewhere around 40MPH. Again this is the track speed for the normal GLC freights and excursions but steam track speeds will generally less, this is because the engine is heavier and the turning radius puts more stress on the curves. The only exception to the speed restriction was 765's final run by and even that was not more than 40 mph. The only reason the run bu was faster was because of the track curvature through the area.

  • Alright thanks for the info!
