The first Perfume Notes video where I talk about all manner of things fragrant. In this video, I debunk a few of the common myths about choosing a perfume.

EDITED: It just occured to me - a legand in the perfume industry used to have a blog called PERFUME NOTES. I am totally unknown to Luca Turin and do not aspire to his level of knowledge. I recommend him highly to anyone seeking more information about perfumes. Needless to say - my little video exercise is not related to him in any way. I bow in his general direction!

Im so addicted to Valentino Eau De Parfum, I recieved a free sample with a sephora purchase,I knew it would be pricey but I loved it soo much so i went a dept store and shelled out 75.00 for a 1.6fl.oz. bottle , it is worth it i think cuz it has lasted me for over 1 year, almost empty now though:( I was wondering if you have tried it and if you like it? It is a lovely scent, but what matters most is that you adore it. My personal taste tends to be different - but that isn't really important. What is important is that the perfume suits you and pleases you and expresses something about you. I am thrilled that you enjoy fragrance. And thank you for subscribing. i've been wearing moschino's cheap and chic in the red and black bottle since i was 13 and now Im 20. Whenever I wear it, I get compliments...but there are so many negative reviews online! it really is about personal taste.

my favorite perfume is chanel mademoiselle , which i think is a very familiar smell for most people, yet everyone think its too mature for me! it sucks

I am a perfume fail! I want to understand it better and your video is a huge help. I'm trying to scent bath and body products and I end up using pre-mixed fragrance oils and never manage to make anything with a good rainbow of notes. I'm watching your videos with great interest,

No difference between mens' and women's fragrnaces? Only a marketing device? Yeah, really? You're big on ideology, but tiny on reality. I doubt you'd wear Aramis Pour Homme. I'm so sick of people being full of crap on this subject.
