A short video showing off a handful of voices Lavarinth and Myself have created for the upcoming update to In The Admiral's Service, a total conversion for Starcraft.

They are all rather heavily edited.

Incidentally, Youtube will have destroyed the sound quality.

  • @deepbIade Adobe Audition 1.5.

  • This is cool. What programs did you use to edit these ?

    Thanks.

  • The Fear was one of the many units that never made it into the mod before it was discontinued.

  • yo dude, what do i buil d to make "fear" of the ages; cause i downloaded your awesome mod but don't know what some things build

  • I had Lavarinth voice act the Artemes and used my traditional flange setup on top of a custom-made SciFi Deluxe flange or something, iirc. It was one of the more intensely edited voices in the setup. Mechanical voices can be created fairly easily, but created an effect such as this took a lot of toying around to achieve a mix between the Undead effect and the mechanical effect that was suitable.

  • Hey Iskatu, Joe 2987 here. This is really nice. How'd you do the Artemes voice? It might be pretty good for the Sarac voice in HW2: Crossfire.
