I remember this well, I was 13 years old when the snow fell, causes our school to be closed for nearly a month. Fun times.

@TheDoctorboogie I remember Kristie and Jackie, how are they? How are the original team from those days of 1973 (other than Chuck, awful tragedy!). I sure miss those guys.

@yizuman Jackie just retired from WAVE after 22 years. Kirstie went on to California, and ended up in Monterrey, but think she is out of the business now. Jim Mitchell was at WAVE, too and I think he is retired now, too.

I loved the old weather wall and machine that WHAS had, and that they noted NO MILK DELIVERY on the school closings.
