Crack a bottle was a major HIT. The album was successful, and it proved that he and Dre had perfected the story-mode musical horror film record. The beats and lyrics create poetry almost on that record. Nobody else does this--NOBODY else composes entire saga's for the hell of it.

I was listening to the cd when it first came out then i seen alot of hiphop sites where people made comments thinking the samething i was. alot of people are going say it was trash cuz he said it or the accent,but if you take away the voice and stop following the flock,that was an instant classic,good beats (even though half of them sounded the same),good production,outstanding and meaningful lyrics *and lyricism*,just an all around great album,it actually inspired me to write,plus alot of people say its trash and they want the old "slim shady" back,that was the closest he got to the old slim,didnt like relapse? never liked shady.
