I have been there.. Snipers do kill more than IED's however, In most cases the snipers are very poor shooters..They often miss if they are beyond 60yards and usually if not always give their positions away by firing more than once.. We have killed dozens of would be snipers over there.. But you are correct.. they posed the biggest threat.

As a profsesional journalist, I know the soldiers who are fighting this war since I've done many stories on them. Every one I have spoken with wants to finish the job so the sacrifice of their comrades and friends will not be forgotten. Yet three thousand U.S soldiers killed in combat is an appalling statistic. Even one is too much. War is never the answer but the greatest sin man can commit.

This is a necessary war because if we leave iraq now, terrorism will end up being in America, Islam, and europe. We are killing insurgent supporters on Osama Bin Laden. We are at war with a rising dictatorship led by Al qaeda. We are not causing genocide, we are freeing Iraq from terrorists.

My best friend served in Baquba Iraq and 15 months on the border of pakistan in afghanistan and he was against it too but its our duty and when your called to action you do what your told.
