Not sure if I have the same problem but when the IMA light came one I took to honda dealer. 1st they did SW upgrade but the IMA light came back on, I took it back and I replaced hybrid battery under warrenty. I guess I will see if it is fixed or not

Holy sh!t I think my wife's now my car is doing the same thing and I just hate as it is for the lack of powered yet not too good on the gas mileage I'll have to mention it to the Honda dealer next time I'll take for service and see what the say about the battery problem

My 2006 does this ALL THE TIME now. It sucks. Honda won't do anything, refuses to acknowledge a problem. Gas mileage suffers. The battery just won't hold a charge like it used to. In addition to comments left on samiu2001 videos, I can leave the car fully charged, and not drive it for 2 days, come back, start the car, and the battery shows dead and will want to recharge again.

I have battery recal ~7-10times/day on my 2006 civic hybrid!!
The situation will get worse and worse, just watch out for it.
Up to a point, you will hate driving your car.

This is exactly what happens to my 2006 Civic Hybrid. In the last two days, it happens 11 times/day...it is getting ridiculous! Sometimes, it happens every 2-4km!! The mileage is now 7.5L/100km. I am still waiting for Honda Canada to arrange a test drive of my car. I want to see what they say about it.
I was able to settle with Honda Motor of America on a new IMA Battery Pack. They wanted $3500 but after talked with the service reps at Honda Motor they were able to come down to $700 with labor included. My hybrid works perfect now, I am averaging and astounding 46 MPG! I would encourage anyone who has rapid battery discharge like mine, to open a case with Honda Motor of America.
