On our recent adventure to the wilderness, we brought along a few planes and one of them was the new Fox glider we recently got in. And this is the review for it.

Airfield have created this wonderfully exciting aerobatic glider in impact absorbing and resilient EPO foam. The mold quality is sublime adding to the efficiency and great looks.

This glider features glass/carbon composite and aluminum tube strengthened wings that are easily removable for transport and a very compact fuselage adding further to the enjoyment of this model.
Positive and negative loops, stall turns, point rolls and inverted flight are all easily performed with this model and it will also perform excellently simply hunting for thermals or slope flying, making it suitable for a wide range of pilots.

  • Thought for a second that I was about to watch another episode of Top Gear, when I saw the intro.. :) . Anyway, good review.

  • This glider does have a few bad things about it.

First it really needs some downthrust put into the motor.

Easily solved by putting some washers in the motor mount.

2nd, the rudder hinge mech leaves a lot to be desired.

3rd the CG is really about 50mm, balance here and you will float forever.

Lastly, this is one of the best flying planes that I have ever flown. It tracks like it is on rails and stays up forever in the mildest of lift. Master this plane, and you can fly just about anything.

  • @antsp1 What size battery are you using for that 50 MM CG? I'm gonna be using a Zippy 2200 3S X-Thin.

  • I will use this plane as my official RECEIVER TESTER. I bought alot of those Orange receivers from HobbyKing, and before I put them in any of my precious planes, I want to know that they are safe. With this glider being EPO, I should be ok if it crashes.

  • How long is the flight time with the stock battery and would it be worth it to get a telemetry system?

  • Philiip

I'm wondering what model airplane I should get as a biginer?

  • how long a flight time did you get with a 1300mah? on other websites ive seen it recommends up to a 2200

  • and it records too?

  • LiPo? As in Lithium Polymer? Don't Mess Around with that! Keep it away from fire or you'll regret it.

  • @lazyfreedom98 It's better than suicide. Or not...

  • that was good that plane look like a real plane flying when its in the air.
