  • If the site received .5 to 1.5" of rain the night before the soil would have been too saturated to walk on and the work party should not have been held. Your shot of the rushing water makes the case that the Arboretum received too much rain to hold the work party according to best management practices. Secondly, the "good plant" versus "bad plant", is just too simple to explain the complexity of the work.
