A Jonas Brothers Love Story chapter 2

*~* In chapter one, jasmine met Joe and he offered to help her with the painting of her house. The boys from before came back, but Joe got them to leave Jasmine alone. Lets see whats next! *~*

-Joes POV-
~Goes to get changed and outs on a white muscle shirt and grey sweatpants. He goes outside and sees Craig and Jerry standing there, looking at Jasmine. He walks over to her and notices her staring at him~
Craig: Hey there! Its you again.
Jasmine: What?
Craig: Youre a big topic of conversation up at school. We just want something to report back to the gang.
~clenches his fists in anger. He KNOWS Craig~ Get lost Craig
Craig: Fine. Come on. Jerry.
Youll want to watch yourself. Craig and his gag are barely ever up to any good ~forcing his voice to be calm. Looking at Jasmine he knew exactly what Craig had been thinking. What guy in the school wouldnt be thinking the same thing? Her hair was pulled back, but looked like it would reach halfway down her back. Her chocolate colored eyes seemed to sparkle and she was slender. Joe could see how fit she was, probably from all the work she did herself~ But, Lets start the paint shall we?
Jasmine: Sure.
She sounds as if she doesnt realize the danger she was just in. How could anybody be that calm after meeting up with Craig? Ill have to keep my eye on them for her. Do you want to start on opposite sides?
Jasmine: Sure. You dont mind if I play some music, do you?
Not at all. ~watches her put a CD into her boom box and then smiled~ You like the classics?
Jasmine: *glances up at him* You dont mind do you? I could get a different CD. I have a lot....
No, no it just surprised me. I thought I was the only one around here who liked this kind of music.
Jasmine: Oh. Well... we should probably get started. *sets her ladder against the house and climbs up to start by the top*
~grabs the other ladder and props it up. 2 hours later, they met up in the middle of the house~ That wasnt too bad.
Jasmine: Thanks for helping. It would have taken me twice that to do it myself. Do you want to come in? I could make some lemonade or something.
How about you come to my place? Weve got tons of soda that mom wants us to get rid of.
Jasmine: Thanks, but... what about Crystal?
No problem. ~leads her over to his house and lets them in~ Hey guys!
Kevin and Nick: *on the couch* Hey. *dont look up from the TV*
~clears throat~
Kevin and Nick: *glance up*
Nick: *gets up off the couch to come say hello*
Kevin: *nods to Jasmine* You the new girl, right?
Jasmine: Yeah. Just moved in next to you.
Kevin: Cool. *turns back to the TV*
Ignore him. Hes just in a bad mood because he has to go back to college soon
Nick: *gives Joe a look*
Right. Nick, This is Jasmine---
Jasmine: You can call me Jazz. *blushes as the 3 boys all look at her* Its the nickname my friend gave me like 10 years ago. I prefer to be called something other than Jasmine.
Okay... Nick, this is Jazz. Jazz, my brother Nick.
Nick: *still staring at Jazz*
~kicks him~
Jazz: Nick to meet you Nick.
Nick: Yeah. Nice to meet you too.
Come on Jazz ~leads her away from Nick~ What would you like to drink?
Jazz: You got sprite?
Yeah. ~opens the fridge and tosses it to her. Then spins around to make sure she caught it, so used to his brothers he hadnt given a second thought about just throwing it over his shoulder~
Jazz: *grabs it with one hand and then notices Joe watching* Wasnt sure if Id catch it?
Just making sure ~turns back to grab himself one as well~
Mrs. Jonas: *walks in* Joe, whos your friend?
This is Jasmine. She and her dad just moved into the house next door
Mrs. Jonas: Isnt that wonderful! Its nice to meet you Jasmine.
Jazz: Its nice to meet you too.
Mrs. Jonas: You only live with your dad?
Jazz: Yeah, my mom died in childbirth.
Mrs. Jonas: *puts a hand on Jasmines shoulder* Im so sorry.
Jazz: No, its okay. I never knew her and its always been like this. Just me and dad. *smiles as Crystal licks her hand* And Crystal too.
Mrs. Jonas: Well, if you ever need anything, feel free to call.
Jazz: Thank you so much! That means a lot to me.
Hey Jazz? Have you gotten your school books yet?
Jazz: Not yet. Why?
I could take you to get them if you want.
Jazz: Thanks! That would be great. You dont mind?
Not at all. Come on ~leads the way outside and then glares across the street at Craig~
